Language, Regional Expertise and Culture (LREC) Support
We are a premier provider of LREC services to the Department of Defense and federal government. We provide expert instruction in classrooms, on-line, or in blended/hybrid formats. We also assemble Mobile Training Teams to deploy globally as needed.
Chi-Chack instructors are trained in the Interagency Language Roundtable scale and use current methodologies in second language acquisition and adult education. We provide training at all levels, from initial acquisition to refresher as well as sustainment and enhancement. Cultural information is woven into our language instruction to ensure cross-cultural competence. Our instruction enables students to reach their language proficiency goals as measured by the Defense Language Proficiency Test System (DLPTS) or Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI).
Linguist Support
We quickly assemble teams of interpreters and translators, both un-cleared and cleared, for deployment within CONUS and OCONUS. Linguists are native (both linguistically and culturally) to the mission’s needs and are prepared to support a variety of roles including acting as cultural advisors and attachés, embedding with combat arms and special operations forces, and performing as intelligence analysts.
Role-Play Support
We deploy teams of culturally and linguistically accurate role-players from diverse native heritages to provide real-to-life training in support of mission readiness. Teams are prepared to cover a variety of roles including civilians on the battlefield, host-nation force, embedded interpreters/translators, third-country nationals, terrorists elements, protesters, and local government/tribal representatives.
